If you have plenty of driving tasks during the week that gobble up plenty of your precious time, then this article is for you. Driving can be a real pleasure, but it also can be a terrible nuisance if you've better things to do. In this article, I'll give you some great tips on how to save plenty of time, so you can do more important things.

The first idea is pretty obvious, but you'd be surprised how many people really don't pay attention to this time saver. And that is to simply know exactly where you are going. Many people simply head out the door, hit the road, and aren't really sure where they are going. They'll end going to places they hadn't planned on, and not going to half the places they did plan on. When you plan correctly, you can avoid this time wasting behavior.

The second suggestion is to prioritize. Many times we go out to run errands, because we wanted to do something earlier, but we ran out of time. So we have left over things we need to do on Saturday and Sunday. When you prioritize, you can do the most important things first, and then less important things as time permits. It doesn't make sense to do something simply because you didn't get to it before.

Another great tip that has only recently become available to all, is the use of a personal GPS navigation system. When combined when the tips above, this can be a great time saver. Many people take their navigation system, and pre-program it with all their destinations before they leave the house. That way, they maximize their efficiency by going to all of them in the shortest amount of time. If you don't own a GPS system, consider getting one.

And while we're at it, I'd like to give you on more bonus tip. If you can, do your driving errands during off peak hours. This can be a fantastic help, as you'll save plenty of time by driving when the roads and highways are less crowded. You will be absolutely flabbergasted how much quicker you'll be able to get all your driving chores done.

When you combine all of these tips together, you will find yourself with plenty of extra hours a week. You'll be less stressed, less busy, and more relaxed. You may even find the time to read and extra novel a week. Or even write one!
