The new trend of In Dash Car Entertainment is here and NavStar Audio has been on the forefront from the beginning. In Dash Car Entertainment is becoming more and more popular. It's a trend that's converting the average Car Stereo System into a Car Multimedia Entertainment System, with the use of a simple device called a Car DVD Player. The device, is an In Dash Car Stereo, much like the Car Radio or Car Stereo in the family car, that your Parents drove when you were a child, with a lot of additional features. The Car Stereo System of the future is here!

The In Dash Stereo will do everything your old Car Stereo did and more. This new device integrates a Car Stereo, DVD Player, CD Player, a Digital Television, Telephone Calling and Answering Capability, a GPS Navigation System, a Music Memory Disc and 2 Way Camera Capability for Parking and much more. This is all packaged into one unit. All of these functions are controlled from a 7" Touch Screen and or from the remote control that comes with the device.

Here are some more technical specifications for a new Car DVD Player; Most Car DVD Players comes with a 7" touch screen, analog or Digital TV Tuner, Bluetooth, AM FM Radio with RDS functions. GPS navigational system that's already built in and optional DVB T functionality.

Size really does not matter here:

The Single or Double Din Sized, Car DVD Player utilizes a LCD 7"inch Wide Touch Screen Controlled Panel for the 3D User Interface that's easy to operate. Most Car DVD Players will have a Fully Motorized Flip down Front Panel. The DVD Playback is Compatible with VCD/ CD/MP3/MPEG4 (DIVX)/WMA/JPEG FM/AM with Presets for 30 Different Stations. RDS is available for European Customers that will use there Stereo in the European Union. A SD Card Reader is also built in. Playback of MP4, JPEG, MP3 and WMA Playback is integrated as is Bluetooth for Hands-Free Calling.

There are 2 Basic Universal Sizes; 1 Din and a 2 Din Size. There is also Custom Fitted Sizes (OEM) which will fit the Car, like the original Factory Car Stereo that came with the Car originally from the Car Manufacture.

The Custom fit (OEM) Car DVD Player is needed and will fit a specific type of vehicle; for example a Toyota Highlander that has a contoured Dash Panel, where the Car Stereo is located.

Usually the Custom Fit Car DVD Player is purchased and installed when the 1 Din or 2 Din Universal Sized Models above are not the choice or the installation option.

It really does not matter what kind of car you drive. If your car is a Ford, Jeep, Chevrolet, Toyota, BMW, Audi or any other brand, you can upgrade and install a Car DVD Player into your vehicle.
